The purpose of the Board of Adjustment and Appeals is to review and rule on applications for variances and waivers from the Zoning Code of the City. The power to act as a Board regarding matters arising from enforcement of provisions of Article XV of Chapter 22, Chapter 90 and Chapter 146 of the Aurora City Code. The City Board of Adjustment and Appeals was established by the City Council to carry out the duties and power assigned to it by Section 106-92 of the City Code.

Board Information

Usually meets at the Aurora Municipal Center, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway, second floor in the Aspen Room, on the third Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. Meetings may be held virtually.

Members shall be residents of the City for at least one year immediately preceding the date of their appointment, a registered elector and the holder of no other office or position in the City administration.
