To recommend to City Council the purchase of properties for trails, open space, parks, recreation centers and programs. Advise City Council on park development and use regulations for parks, recreation areas, facilities and programs. Approve neighborhood park master plans at public hearings.

Board Information
Usually meets at the Aurora Municipal Center, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway, Sand Creek Room,on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 5 p.m. Due to the current COVID-19 situation, meetings are held virtually.
Must be an Aurora resident, holding no paid, elected, or appointed position with the city or any boards of education.
