To recommend to City Council the purchase of properties for trails, open space, parks, recreation centers and programs. Advise City Council on park development and use regulations for parks, recreation areas, facilities and programs. Approve neighborhood park master plans at public hearings.

Usually meets at the Aurora Municipal Center, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway, Sand Creek Room,on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 5 p.m. Meetings may be held virtually.
Must be an Aurora resident, holding no paid, elected, or appointed position with the city or any boards of education.
