The Golf Advisory Committee shall serve as a voice of the public, and shall have the obligation and function to advise the City Council and the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department staff on such matters as shall pertain to the planning, budgeting, regulation and use of the City-owned and -managed golf courses and facilities.
Board Information
The Golf Course Advisory Committee shall have the responsibility and function of advising the city council on such matters as shall pertain to the planning, regulation, maintenance, repair and operation of city-owned and -controlled golf courses and the play thereon. (Code 1979, § 8-342)
Members of the committee shall serve without compensation and shall have no financial interest in the operation of the city golf courses.
Must be an Aurora resident, and cannot have any financial interest in the operation of City-managed golf courses.
