The purpose of the Career Service Commission is to hear and determine appeals made by an aggrieved employee pursuant to the rules and regulations of the Charter and Ordinances of the City.

Board Information
Usually meets at the Aurora Municipal Center, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway. Meets as needed, call ahead. Due to the current COVID-19 situation, meetings are held virtually.
The council shall appoint five (5) civic-minded persons, who shall be registered electors, residents of the city at least one (1) year immediately preceding the date of their appointment, as Career Service Commissioners.
